COMPETITION LAW
 
Since the liberalization of Indian economy has begun in 1991, earlier enactment i.e. Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1969 became obsolete in many areas.
 
Then here came a new law matching the changing scenarios in and outside India. This law is on the principles of Anti-Trust laws in USA, Europe and other parts of the world. In India, this law is known as "The Competition Act, 2002" along with rules and regulations made in this regard.
 
This law requires expertise from the fields of Economics, Law & Finance so as to understand every aspect of this law.
